Donations we are seeking for 2023
Equipment Transportation-SUV or Van
As DiTaE is continually active in serving our community, the need to transport equipment is becoming more apparent. With this vehicle, we will be able to transport supplies and materials. Cost: $55,000.00 Summer Programs & Community Outreach Once or twice a year, we gather in our local community to fill our streets with hope and love. For 2023 we will be hosting these projects throughout the city with the potential to reach hundreds of families. Cost: $100,000.00 Costumes & other Arts Supplies The schools we are partnering with support kids who otherwise would not have an adequate opportunity to experience The Arts. Our kids are in need of new costumes, dance shoes & other art supplies they cannot afford to purchase. This budget will continue to supply students with items needed. Cost: $50,000.00 Musical Instruments & instrument maintenance Our music program introduces students to a variety of genres including other cultures they may never encounter otherwise. We teach basic music fundamentals, like time signatures, rhythms & the music scales. Having instruments available, keeping them update & maintained is also part of our educational process. Cost: $25,000.00 Dance Supplies We are in need of the following items: A travel marley floor, boom box, ballet barres, Collapsible travel mirrors, room dividers & mobile change rooms. Cost: $75,000.00 Instructor training (TCIT) Teacher-Child Interaction Training We use teaching artists that love what they do & our desire is to invest in them as they use their gift, talent & labor of love to reach our next generation of leaders. Our goal is to work with teaching artists that will make a positive impact in the lives of youth, by providing arts education and cultural awareness. Our teachers are instructed to cultivate confidence and character while inspiring young artists to create, explore, and discover their own artistic voice. We have professional development training to ensure best practice interaction with our children. This training includes but not limited to:
